APOLLO DESIGN STUDIO

Designed for a snowboarding enthusiast and named for a typical snowboard maneuver. Glass box with exposed timber and steel flat roof framing...anchored to the granite outcropping with cable steel outriggers.

IMAGERY: NOTION WORKSHOP

Wood storage and small entry porch are accessed along a narrow ‘goat trail’ along the mountainside. Transparency was a key design element with a focus on low maintenance sustainable materials. A simple wood stove to heat the space in winter and operable transom windows for mountain breezes in summer.
