Utility trenching is starting at the Spyglass site in Packwood, Washington. The site is essentially solid granite with thin soil cover so digging is a challenge. This is the first of many planned detonations to get the project underway.
Modernism Week 2019 - 2/20/2019
We traveled to Palm Springs last week to attend the gala opening of our project, the 2019 West Elm House. 300 people enjoyed salmon flown in from Seattle and the delightful crowds indicative of Palm Springs hospitality. The house looked terrific and kudos go out to all the design, construction and sales team. Photos to follow.

Rosita’s Opens in Utah - 10/1/2018
After a big push by the contractor and design teams the restaurant is now open for business. This project was a personal dream for Paul Allen, who wanted to recreate the Southwestern food he enjoyed while creating Microsoft with Bill Gates. The original fruit market is the perfect architectural shell for the rustic simple foods prepared in the kitchen. Stop by on your way to Zion National Park!

Dallas Apartment featured in Interior Design - 8/1/2018
While employed at Olson Kundig, Paul Schlachter was the project manager for this design recently featured in Interior Design Magazine. Paul worked with architect, Tom Kundig, on the architecture and interior designer, Emily Summers, for the interiors. The result is a balanced mixture of masculine and feminine design.
Omaha house featured on Decoist - 12/11/2018
An extensive remodel in the Fairacres neighborhood of Omaha, the house serves as a gallery to the many faceted styles of artist Jun Kaneko. Works on paper, sculpture, glass castings and paintings cover the walls and floors of the house surrounding the homeowner with artistic inspiration.
The house was completed while Paul Schlachter was employed at Olson Kundig where he served as the Project Manager.
